MEETING A DOCTOR

On July 3rd, 2009 I accompanied my wife to Pusrawi for her mammogram. While waiting I slipped to see a GP at the same Hospital to check my left foot which was reddish in colour at the ankle. The GP told me this was the result of "Vericouse Veins" as seen on my calf, where some of the veins are clearly viewed. The valve inside the veins are not fucntioning to stop the blood floating back to veins branch. She prescribed me some tablet and ointment to be applied to the reddish surface and reffered me to a Surgeon Dr Zain. My appointment was on 11th July, 2009 around 10.am. Sharp at 11.00 I arrived at the Hospital thinking that I may see the Dr straight away as appointment has been placed. Aai yooo yoo. I have to register at the main counter and waited for my number to be called. They gave all the neccessary documents to see the Surgeon.

Then I need to go to a specialist counter and once again have to be registered again at the Specialist Centre. Wait again. Need to measure my weight and blood pressure. I dont know why at this age I was so nervous on seeing a Dr. My BP a bit high. I have to wait for one hour to seea Surgeon. Inside the consultation room. The surgeon asked me to take off my pant and stand in front of him. He checked my left leg and compare it with my right leg. He said that my left calf a bit bigger and mentioned that I have a"Vericouse Vein". To confirm this I need to go for scanning process to confirm at what stage and confirm the vein damage. He gave me a form to do the scanning.

I went to the x-ray room and gave the form to the nurse. Again, have to wait. Time almost 12 noon. I asked the nurse how it take for my turn. She told me there were ttwo patients in forn of me. One patient takes about half-hour for scanning. So it means another one hour for me to wait.

Ohhh I cannot wait anymore as I have golf at 1.40pm. I told the nurse need to make another appointment and refixed at on July 15th, 2009.

I went there on the fixed date around 9.00 am and went to the X-Ray room for scanning. After scanning went back home as my appointment with Surgeon at 2.30 p.m. After having lunch went back to Pusrawi and finally met the Surgeon around 2.45 p.m.

The surgeon told me I have 3 spot that shows 'leaking". It means my blood valve inside the vein is not function. It needs to tighten up the valves to prevent the blood flowing back to branch veins by operation. Ohh I have no choice and fix a date for operation on August 4th, 2009.

So dont see a Dr. Dr always give you bad news, so just see lawyer, always give you good news.
